FAQs
Or: Everything you’re too afraid to ask
The Basics
Q: Do these pots actually water themselves?
A: Yes. They use capillary action (science!) to drink. However, they aren't magic. You still have to fill the reservoir occasionally. If the gauge is down, it’s thirsty. Don’t make us come over there.
Q: I’m a notorious plant killer. Can I still buy from you?
A: Absolutely. That’s why we've created the self-watering gear. We’ve essentially "toddler-proofed" plant care for you. Start with a "Snake Plant" or a "Pothos" and one of our self-watering pots—it’s the closest you’ll get to an unkillable setup.
Shipping & Logistics
Q: When will my order actually show up?
A: We know you’re excited to fix your decor, but good things take time. Here’s the breakdown so you can stop staring at your empty mailbox:
-
Processing (1–5 Days): This is when we’re in the warehouse making sure your gear is flawless .
-
Shipping (5–10 Days): Once it leaves our hands, the mail carriers take over. It usually takes about 5 to 10 business days to reach your doorstep, depending on how far you live from us.
Q: Why can’t I have it tomorrow?
A: Because we aren't a drone-operating mega-corp, and quality takes a minute. We’re shipping gear made just for you! If you need it "yesterday," you should have ordered it last week. For now, just clear some space on your wall and wait for the "It’s Shipped!" email.
Q: Can I change my shipping address?
A: If you catch us before the "Order Processed" stage, sure. If it’s already on the truck, you’ll have to go on a scavenger hunt at your old apartment. We move fast, so move faster.
Care & Maintenance
Q: How do I know if my plant needs more light?
A: If it’s "reaching" toward the window like it’s trying to escape your house, it’s too dark. If it’s getting crispy brown spots, it’s getting roasted (and not in the fun way).
Q: What’s with the "Plant Roast" name?
A: Because plants are the ultimate judges of character. If you can’t keep a Pothos alive, your greenery is definitely talking behind your back. We’re just here to translate what they’re saying.
Q: Do I need to fertilize?
A: Eventually. Even the best gear can’t create food out of thin air. Grab some plant food every few months during the growing season, or don't complain when your plant stops growing.
